Last but not least to achieve this result, the use of <strong>Artificial Intelligence<\/strong> and the fund to financially support European small and medium-sized companies.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12911\" src=\"https:\/\/registrare-marchio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/esearchplus.jpg\" alt=\"e-search plus Euipo\" width=\"465\" height=\"290\" srcset=\"https:\/\/registrare-marchio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/esearchplus.jpg 465w, https:\/\/registrare-marchio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/esearchplus-300x187.jpg 300w, https:\/\/registrare-marchio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/esearchplus-280x175.jpg 280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 465px) 100vw, 465px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We take this opportunity to remind you that EUIPO has a very useful tool for <strong>image trademark and design searches<\/strong> and it is available on the EUIPO website (<strong>ESearch plus<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12913 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/registrare-marchio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/boards-appeal.jpg\" alt=\"Boards of Appeal action plan 2021-2026\" width=\"465\" height=\"290\" srcset=\"https:\/\/registrare-marchio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/boards-appeal.jpg 465w, https:\/\/registrare-marchio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/boards-appeal-300x187.jpg 300w, https:\/\/registrare-marchio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/boards-appeal-280x175.jpg 280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 465px) 100vw, 465px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Boards-of-Appeal-Action-Plan-2021-2026\">Boards of Appeal Action Plan 2021-2026<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Presidium of the Boards of Appeal adopted the Board of Appeal Action Plan 2021-2026.<br \/>\nIt is an internal roadmap establishing the directions the Boards will take in the next five years.<\/p>\n<p>The Action Plan is structured around five Focus Area:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Optmise operational efficiency and effectiveness toward organizational excellence:<\/strong> for example, only to mention one of the numerous points, there will be an upgrading of the existing tools and new technologies will be used in order to develop newer ones. A new single tool will allow you to follow up a trademark application from the filing up to its litigation before the European General Court and the Court of Justice;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ensure timeliness of all proceeding<\/strong> and enable a proactive management of cases<\/li>\n<li><strong>Enhancing the functionalities of the e-Search Case-Law database:<\/strong> a new tool will facilitate the search of the EUIPO and EU and national judgments;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Modernise working methods by simplifying and harmonising processes and procedures:<\/strong> among the other measures, it is proposed that a Registry and Procedure Consistency Circle be created as a technical body where experts from different areas in the BOA are represented;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Create an expert knowledge hub<\/strong> by improving knowledge acquisition, management and sharing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are many further initiatives listed in the Action Plan, for example we can read that that the Boards of Appeal will actively participate in <strong>European Cooperation Projects<\/strong> focused on the development of common practices, namely:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trademark applications made in bad faith;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Trademarks contrary to public policy or to accepted principles of morality;<\/li>\n<li>Comparison of goods\/services;<\/li>\n<li>Notion of \u201csubject matter\u201d;<\/li>\n<li>Designs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you want to find out more, see the EUIPO website:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/euipo.europa.eu\/ohimportal\/en\/news\/-\/action\/view\/9128139\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/euipo.europa.eu\/ohimportal\/en\/news\/-\/action\/view\/9128139<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EUIPO is the world\u2019s most innovative IP office;
