Let\u2019s see what will happen with regard to the European Union trademarks.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11170 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/registrare-marchio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/marchio-e-brexit.jpg\" alt=\"Marchi d'impresa e Brexit: cosa succeder\u00e0?\" width=\"465\" height=\"290\" srcset=\"https:\/\/registrare-marchio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/marchio-e-brexit.jpg 465w, https:\/\/registrare-marchio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/marchio-e-brexit-300x187.jpg 300w, https:\/\/registrare-marchio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/marchio-e-brexit-280x175.jpg 280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 465px) 100vw, 465px\" \/><br \/>\nA long period is still necessary for the definitive separation of the UK.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, in accordance with the agreement negotiated by Boris Johnson and the European Union, starting from 1 February 2020, the day in which UK will be no longer part of the European Union, <strong>a period of transition will start, which will last until 31 December 2020<\/strong> (if further extension will not occur): during this period UK Government and European Commission will negotiate their future relationships, above all on trade and security.<\/p>\n<p>In the light of the foregoing on 27 January 2020 <strong>EUIPO<\/strong> (European Union Intellectual Property Office) <a href=\"https:\/\/euipo.europa.eu\/ohimportal\/en\/brexit-q-and-a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><strong>published in its website an article<\/strong><\/a> in which it is highlighted how, during the transition period, nothing will change. More specifically:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cEU law remains applicable to and in the UK.
