Protection includes also marks formed by a single color or combination of colors, holograms, motions and all types of visually recognizable marks.<\/p>\n<p>Although the Trademark Act does not protect unregistered marks, it does provide <a href=\"https:\/\/registrare-marchio.com\/en\/trademark-with-a-reputation\/\"><strong>protection of well-known or famous marks<\/strong><\/a> by restricting the registration of an identical or similar mark.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Trademark-filing-and-registration-of-a-trademark-in-South-Korea\">Trademark filing and registration of a trademark in South Korea<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>After <a href=\"https:\/\/registrare-marchio.com\/en\/trademark-consultancy\/filing-a-trademark-application\/\"><strong>the filing of trademark,<\/strong><\/a> applications are examined and if the Examiner finds some <a href=\"https:\/\/registrare-marchio.com\/en\/invalid-trademark-and-revocation\/\"><strong>obstacles to the registration<\/strong><\/a>, a provisional refusal is issued. The applicant may file a reply to the provisional refusal.<\/p>\n<p>In the event no office action is issued by the Korean Trademark Office, or if the Examiner decides the rejection has been overcome by the applicant\u2019s response, the application is published.<\/p>\n<p>From the date of publication any person may <a href=\"https:\/\/registrare-marchio.com\/en\/trademark-legal-assistance\/trademark-opposition-proceedings\/\"><strong>file an opposition<\/strong><\/a> within <strong>two months<\/strong> (non-extendable).<\/p>\n<p>If no opposition is filed or if the same is overcome, the Examiner issues the decision to register the trademark.
